This has been such a difficult few months, knowing that with every passing good-bye means good-bye for many years to come. We frequently find ourselves holding back tears because of the knowledge of the distance that will soon be developed in our deepest relationships. 

At the same time, we look forward to starting fresh, and getting settled into our new home in Bangkok. We look forward to saying, 'Sa-wought-dee' ('Hello' in Thai) to our future Thai ministry partners. We have gone over a year now without a steady routine, which has cultivated a chaotic atmosphere for us and our girls. In a way, moving to Thailand feels like starting an entirely new life! A new language, a new culture, and a new way of life. We are excited, nervous, and everything in between! But more than anything, we are thrilled to play a small part in the work that the Holy Spirit is doing throughout Thailand. We can't believe that this is real life; that WE get to partner with the church in the United States and around the world to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth in a place that so desperately needs this hope.
