In Memory and Honor...

Everyday in the U.S. there are 14 worker's lives taken due to preventable work related incidents. Hundreds of family member victims lives forever changed.

This April 28 we come together to honor and remember the over 5,000 workers each year that have gone to work and never come home to their families.  We stand beside the families that each day struggle through the everlasting devastation, pain and suffering one goes through after such a tragic loss.

We stand together to prevent workplace tragedies. We stand together because we as family member victims do not want any other family to endure the pain and loss we have felt. We unite because going to work should not be a grave mistake.

Together we can make a difference and prevent workplace incidents not only on or around April 28, Workers' Memorial Day but, every other day throughout the year.  Make workplace safety a top priority in your workplace and help all workers go home to their families at the end of their shift.

WORKERS' MEMORIAL DAY

April 28, is a day that we step back to remember and honor our fallen workers as it is their hard work and dedication that has developed and build our great Nation to what it is today and what it will be in our future and we invite you to join the cause at a Worker's Memorial Day event near you.

LIGHT A CANDLE IN MEMORY AND HONOR OF A FALLEN WORKER...

In a moment a family's life forever changes and can feel as though it has gone black in a matter of seconds due to a preventable work related incident. Going to work should not be a grave mistake. Throughout the month of April we ask that you please help us light our Facebook cover image in memory and honor of our fallen workers  to shine the light to our families to help them know they are not alone after their tragic loss as we are here to offer them support, guidance and resources.

With a small donation of $10/candle to USMWF you can help us light our page for our fallen workers and our family members this Worker's Memorial Day Season! Thank you in advance for your support.

*USMWF's main priorities are to offer support, guidance and resources to those that have been forever affected by preventable work related incidents. It is very hard for some of our family members to take the time to write or speak about their loved ones incident and how their life has forever changed. Many letters we receive are specifically written on behalf of our request.  We do have a few families who have asked not to share or alter information so please follow and take the TOU serious.  For more information regarding the Terms of Use click here.
