Introducing the 2019 Cervelo P3X

Hot on the heals of the recently released P5 Disc comes the next generation X bike from Cervelo - the 2019 Cervelo P3X.  Lower pricing, disc brakes, lighter weight and lower drag are all part of the equation.

Cervelo's X series of bikes are arguably the most innovative in triathlon today. If you want to learn more about Cervelo X bikes, check out our overview of the P5X as many of the features found on the P5X have trickled down to the P3X.

Choosing the Right Type of Gravel Bike

A gravel bike is a gravel bike, right?  Not even close.

A good prelim to getting a new gravel bike is to figure out what category of gravel bike makes the most sense for you.  This article dives into some of the nuances that define the many sub-categories.

Parlee RZ7 Factory Edition

It is hard to look at a bike like a 2019 Cervelo S3 or the new Parlee RZ7 Factory Edition and not want one.  Luckily, today's aero road bikes are more versatile than ever.  Read more about how you can get aero benefits and the renowned Parlee ride all in one bike for less money than you may have been thinking (from $6600 with Ultegra Di2).

While an in-line RZ7 model will be coming in July, we have some of the first RZ7 Factory Editions coming in over the next few weeks. There are only going to be 100 in the world total, so speak now or forever hold your peace.

The Canyon Conundrum

There are more consumer direct bike brands, like Canyon, than ever.  There will likely be even more in the future with the power of the internet.  This being said, while these bikes can be well made and attractively priced, buying a consumer direct bike has implications that many people haven't thought much about.  Click to read about the good, the bad and the ugly behind what is powering the retail bike industry and why how you buy your next bike matters more than ever.
