April Update
Good news for your pocketbook! We are transitioning our Etsy store from priority USPS shipping to first class USPS shipping for our domestic customers. International customers already receive their screens via first class mail. We know that quick response and shipping has been a strong point of our store since it is frequently mentioned in our reviews on Etsy. Our hope is that this change will affect your pocketbook for the better and that our shipping times will still meet our and your high standards. Screens will be shipped in sturdy envelopes that qualify for first class USPS postage and we have set this rate at $3.70. This should cover several screens shipped in one envelope to any US destination. As always, if you ever receive a product which is damaged or does not meet your requirements, please let us know so we can work together to solve any problems.

We mentioned last time that our shop now has a pulldown menu for each screen, where you may choose different size options as well as receiving your screen taped or not taped. We hope this change makes shopping easier.

New Screens

Spring is finally here and we have renewed two of our spring bloom screens for you in the Etsy shop. Cherry blossoms is a large screen (9x7"), and we also have a dogwood blossom that is 3x3". Check out photos of prints of both in the shop. We frequently rotate the screens listed in our Etsy shop. If you don’t see the one you want listed, please send us an email and we will be glad to accommodate your request. If you are following the #100dayproject on Instagram and see a screen you particularly like that is not in the shop, send us a note and we can get it out to you at our new reduced shipping rate.

Do you follow us on social media? We post to Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest as well as our blog. You can find us @pgfiber2art for social media and on blogspot. During March we participated in the #igquiltfest hosted by Amy Ellis of #amyscreativeside on Instagram. It was a post a day following a prompt and thousands of quilters, many from the modern quilt movement, participated. Starting on April 2, we are participating in the #100dayproject where Instagram users are each posting one photo a day of their creative pursuits, whatever they may be. We are posting a different screen printed in a 5 inch by 5 inch format each day. Be sure to check it out as you might see a screen you would like. If it is not in the Etsy shop, please send us a message and we can make it as a custom order for you.

May Class at Artistic Artifacts
Are you local to the DC area? We are teaching at Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria on May 18. The class is designed to teach you the many ways you can use a Thermofax screen. In the process we will build a small sample book for you to use as a reference. Class details can be found here.
