Happy Thursday <<First Name>> – What do Thanos and the Night King have in common? Both are going to be hunting your favorite Starks over the weekend (watch out Arya, Sansa, Creepy Bran, and Tony!). With all of this craziness I almost didn't get this newsletter out this week. Honestly, that's because I'm thinking about some changes I may make here. EMAIL IS STILL WORTH YOUR TIME. I may be making changes to this email but I'm as committed to the medium as ever. Especially after this latest data from eMarketer.

WEEKLY GAME OF THRONES LAUGH. So, did you watch last week's new episode of Game of Thrones? While there wasn't a ton to laugh at (it's getting bleak!) Daenerys's "bless your heart" face when talking to Sansa has already been memed and it is a hoot. I'll try to do this each week leading up to the finale.

BODY LANGUAGE LESSONS FROM THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES. I'm not sure if you've heard, but there's an election coming up soon. Living in Iowa, I try to see everyone up close both to hear what they have to say and to see if there are any public speaking tips and tricks I can steal. Here are three things I've observed so far about their body language.

Speaking Spotlight: #WorldBookDay
Tuesday was World Book Day. I'm fortunate enough to have written two books so far. While there's a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, I've loved the process of writing and sharing Brand Now and Get Scrappy with the world. My day is always brightened when someone emails me that they've read one of my books and its helped them build their brand and share their story.

So on this special day, or week that this day occurred on, I want to say thanks to YOU — the readers. It wouldn't be possible without each and every one of you.
