Come and help extend our wildflower meadow
Belhaven Community Garden

Over the past couple of years we have successfully established a small area of wildflower meadow at Belhaven Community Garden in the grounds of Belhaven Hospital using seed from Scotia Seeds in Fife. This season we want to extend this into the adjacent area of rough grassland. We need to scythe some of the long grass, strip areas of turf and broadcast more wildflower seed. Many hands will make light work and will be followed by a social lunch with samosas, tea and cake!
We will be joined by botanist Sally Gouldstone from the Edinburgh Botanic Garden.

All very welcome -come and see around the garden and learn about current activities and future plans

Spring is arriving at Belhaven Community Garden -and there's lots of other activity to get involved with, including:
Sunday's from 1pm -regular volunteer sessions, just turn up and join in
Monthly Herb Courses with Anna Davis 2-4pm -Saturdays 27th April.....through to October. More on FB HERE and our website HERE
plus Bee School, Arts projects, Soil to Slice wheat plot, Fork to Fork tattie project and more..
