Sunny Days Are Ahead!
They say April showers bring May flowers, so we are expecting a lot of flowers next month. We hope you're staying dry, and enjoying the beautiful green grass and spring flowers when it is dry enough to get outside! Read on for some fun upcoming events, spring-inspired cocktails, and other news.
Star Wars Day/Derby Day
May the 4th be with you! We're celebrating Star Wars Day this Saturday with a special menu of Star Wars-themed cocktails, and we might also have a Mint Julep in honor of Derby Day - stop by and see! Our Drink of the Week this week is also Derby-ish, it's the Brown Derby.
New Event Series: Game Night, starting May 29 Join us on the last Wednesday of each month for an evening of great games, food & drink specials, and more. We'll have a range of games on hand, and you are welcome to bring your own, too.
Another New Event Series: Distilling History with the Lake Bluff History Museum We're teaming up with the folks at this great local museum to host a series of talks on local lore and history. Our first event is going to be Tuesday, June 4 at 7 pm, with a presentation on the Great Rondout Train Robbery. Like us, you've probably driven by that historical marker on Route 176 a thousand times - come and learn about the largest train robbery in US history, which happened just down the road! New Hours
We've updated our hours slightly for the spring. Now we are open:
TONIGHT @ the Distillery - Thursday 5/2, 6-8:30 pm - A Fiesta for Career Resource Center - We're hosting a fun fundraiser for this great local nonprofit! Grab a ticket & join us.
Please note: We will not be having Flight Night tonight because of this event, and we will be CLOSED to other customers from 5 pm onward for this event.
Also TONIGHT - Thursday 5/2, 7-9 pm - North Shore Night at Tavern in Libertyville - We'll be back at Tavern tomorrow for our monthly cocktail party! Stop by to say hello to Bill from our team and enjoy new cocktail specials with us.
Wednesday 5/8, 7 pm - This month's Boozy Bookclub pick is The Cocktail Party by T.S. Eliot.
Thursday 5/23, 6-9pm - Cocktailin' and Jewelry Makin' - Join us to create a beautiful tile wrap bracelet with a customized color palette while you sip a cocktail! No experience necessary, details & info on tickets here (fb link).
Sunday, 6/9 - Summer Cocktail Class at Gorton Center in Lake Forest - Join Sonja for another fun cocktail class. We'll make & taste a variety of great cocktails for your summer soirees and patio sipping! Get a ticket here for the class at Gorton, or stay tuned for a date at the distillery coming soon.
Tuesdays Tuesdays are for Tiki drinks and Tacos - every Tuesday we'll have a special menu of Tiki-inspired cocktails and a housemade taco for you to try!
Thursdays We offer cocktail flights every Thursday - sometimes you pick the flights, sometimes we do - they're always a great way to experiment and try a range of cocktail styles & flavors!
Saturdays Join us on Saturdays at 4 for an exploration of our distillery (except for the last Saturday of the month, which is a Geek Out version)! Space is limited, so reserve spots in advance.
