Triple district success for sports teams

West Hatch High School is celebrating after two netball teams and a football team were crowned district champions on the same evening.
The Year 7 boys football team came back from 2-0 down to beat St Marks School in Harlow 3-2 while the Year 7 netball team beat St Marks 36-16 and the Year 10 girls were victorious over the same Harlow school 17-13.
Headteacher Daniel Leonard said: "I’m just so proud of the students' achievements and the work they have put in to get there.
"This doesn’t happen however without a dedicated staff who give up a huge amount of time for the students.
"It’s lovely to see sport at West Hatch going from strength to strength."
