First of its kind Online Harms White Paper
DCMS, in conjunction with Home Office, unveiled world first online safety proposals - tough new measures which will ensure the UK is the safest place in the world to be online.

Age Verification to begin on 15 July

We announced that world first age-verification laws will come into force on 15 July, bringing the same level of protection online as there is offline.

UK's Tech for Good sector worth £2.3bn

A Tech Nation report valued the UK's Tech for Good companies at £2.3bn, as the burgeoning sector was celebrated with a roundtable hosted by Jeremy Wright at 10 Downing Street.

Open Banking for Good Challenge

Mims Davies visited a Nationwide branch to celebrate the seven fintech companies selected for the Open Banking for Good Challenge, as part of the Inclusive Economy Partnership.

Export Bars placed on notable works

Heritage Minister Michael Ellis placed temporary export bars
on a number of notable works of art, including the notebooks
of Charles Darwin's mentor.
