Hockey : Victory Ball for the All Ireland Champions 2019 tomorrow night
The winning team, coaches, parents and friends are invited to celebrate another great year for the school on the hockey pitch. The event will be held this Sunday 21st April in the Strand Hotel, Limerick .. for details contact Eddie Barry - eddiebarry@eircom.net

Fun Table Quiz Night on Tuesday 14 May @ 8PM
The Crescent College Past Pupils Union is holding a FUN evening of questions and trivia. The table quiz is being held in Collins Bar in Dooradoyle @ 8PM on Tuesday 14th May. Tables of up to four can enter but individuals are more than welcome to attend and we will put people together on the night so don't be afraid to come solo. The Quiz is not too serious, there'll be novelty prizes on offer and a good time is promised.
The cost is
€10 per person and all proceeds will be donated to local charities.

Rugby : Old Crescent host a Joe Schmidt Event on 7 May
Old Crescent RFC will host a Rugby Breakfast with Joe Schmidt, the Irish Head Coach, in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Limerick, on Tuesday morning, 7th May 2019.
Joe Schmidt will be Guest of Honour at the Old Crescent RFC Rugby Breakfast in the Castletroy Park Hotel on 7th May, at which Old Crescent club member and International Referee, Andy Brace, will facilitate a discussion with Joe on the recent Six Nations campaign and the forthcoming Rugby World Cup in Japan.
'Breakfast with Joe' will be a fascinating opportunity to hear at first hand Joe Schmidt's insights at an important time for Irish international rugby. Registration 7.30am. Full Irish Breakfast served at 7.45am. Event will conclude at 9.00am.

Your HELP is requested to help students get on the career ladder
The school are asking if you can take a minute and see if you can help students get a foot on the career ladder and gain some work experience and perhaps find their vocation in life.
They want to build a contact list of past pupils and businesses who may be able to assist with some or all of the issues below
- Career Advice: Information and advice about particular career paths; would you be willing to participate in careers events at the school or come and talk about your chosen career?
- TY Work Experience: Can you offer work experience for Transition Year students, either one day per week (for several weeks) or for weekly blocks (1 or 2 weeks)
- Training & Employment: Can you offer training/employment opportunities for students who are finding school difficult at senior cycle level
- International & 3rdLevel Placements: Can you offer college support with work placements, supporting students studying/working outside of Ireland

We are delighted to confirm that we can send a photographer to your event on the night to capture the evening if you want. On the other hand if your year hasn't organised a reunion then why not come join us at our Annual Dinner on Saturday 9th November in Limerick. Many class groups attend and we have groups celebrating reunions form every decade from 2000s to 1950s. All past pupils and staff are welcome to attend what is always a most enjoyable evening.
