Summer 2019
January and February are our summer months in Chile as we live south of the equator. After a full summer of activity and work, we can only give thanks for all the Lord has done in bringing each and every person to camp whether it be camper, staff, and speaker and working in each and every life. Our theme this year was "More than Conquerors". Though many of the praises we could share from this summer are much like other years, we would especially like to highlight one. This summer many unsaved young people had the opportunity to come to camp because of a scholarship fund. The seed was planted in the hearts of these young people and we trust in the One who gives the increase to make it grow.

We thank God for giving us the privilege of returning to the United States and Canada to visit our supporting churches and individuals. By His grace, we plan to travel around 30 thousand miles, visit churches every Sunday, and report on what God has done in the past four years.
|
|
We also thank God for the opportunity to spend some time with family and friends. We hope to fit in a few camping trips, tend a garden, and enjoy other summer activities which we usually don't get to enjoy because of our full summer camp schedule.

|
Canadian Work Team
God brought a team of 11 to work on the newest cabin at Lican Camp. Some of the team finished siding, painting and sealing up the outside of the cabin, while others worked on plumbing and inside finishing touches. Another small group built concrete septic tanks. They accomplished much and we hope to see them again on other work team opportunities.

Prayer Requests
- Please pray that we would report and give thanks with humble hearts for what the Lord has done during these past few years.
- Pray for our children to adjust well to life in the US.
- Pray for our team members, Cheo and Andrea, as they care for camp needs, and for Terry and Carol Thompson as they stand in at the Lican Bible Church.
