It's all about the Brusho

Happy Easter

Wow, it's been a while, but I'm back to share what I've been up to in the land of Kerrymay._.Makes. It's all been about using Brusho lately. Below is my last blog post and my latest video. Both were collabs, the first with Anna Brim (AKA Mrs Brimbles) and the second with Lisa over at The Lollipop Box Club.

Brusho Snowdrops and Drawing Gum Resist

It's been a long time since 1: that I have created any watercolour art and 2: that I have done a post for Anna Brim, but yay, I can say that I am happy to be back doing both. I was so inspired by Anna's watercolour snowdrops video tutorial over on her patreon page - patreon.com/mrsbrimbles, that I decided to add my own twist to it using Colourcraft Crystal Colours Brusho (this is an affiliate link, which means I get a small commission if you purchase through the link). I used drawing gum to create a resist for the snowdrops. You can see my full process in the video in the post.

Making Art Journaling Cards

Very excited to share this process video collaboration with the Lollipop Box Club - http://tinyurl.com/y6amxzts on how I make watercolour art journaling cards for use in planners, scrapbooks, travel journals and creative journaling. I have used texture paste, stencils, watercolour using Jane Davenport Bright's and Daniel Smith Paint and gorgeous goodies from the Lollipop Box Club kit.
