Be a better citizen

My featured blog below is from awhile back, but it's been one of my most popular. It's been republished in Change Creator (where, btw, I am now a monthly contributor to the magazine so get yourself a subscription asap). If you didn't already hear, I reopened my Impact Boss Lifestyle Coaching program last week. It's a different style of coaching, laser focused on how you can integrate impact daily into your work and life outside of work. Below are some ways to get started. One action I take daily is to try to shop from places and for products that make people's lives better. I'm going to start linking some of my favorites weekly in this newsletter; this week, it's all about gifts for the moms in your life (ps, you have til May 12 in the US!). Until next week . . . xx
Blog: 15 opportunities for finding your inner Impact Boss
Start rolling up your sleeves to start turbocharging how you show up daily in social impact – no matter where you work.
What else I'm into to this week
Mandatory paternity leave might be Wall Street’s best bet for gender equality
Must read. Even if you don't work on Wall Street.

Why Panda Express is authentic Chinese food
If you read the piece I linked last week on a wellness bloggers' unfortunate blunders in cultural appropriation as she opened her Chinese restaurant, this article is a fascinating compliment.

A few of my favorite things: Mother's Day Edit
Impact-driving books and goods that I absolutely love

Gift some social impact goodness to the moms in your life. Beautycounter's Overnight Resurfacing Peel is essentially a facial in a jar. C is for Consent is a really sweet children's book for all genders about asking before hugging, holding hands, and otherwise touching others. Horn earrings are the new black (and if you're wondering – like I once did – why horn earrings are ethical, read here). And this coffee gift pack provides clean drinking water to those who need it most.

Should we work together?
I get a bit of outreach to this newsletter on how to collaborate. Right now, I have three ways to do so:

Speaking and Writing
I have been doing quite a bit of speaking and writing and am available for select contributions and engagements.

Consulting
I accelerate results without the BS in small to medium nonprofits and social enterprises through strategic consulting engagements.

Coaching
My Impact Boss Lifestyle Coaching program equips individuals to maximize social impact in both their professional and personal lives through a signature 8 session program. Be a better citizen and sign up today.
