Thinking of our Victorian SLSC brothers
Easter Sunday is for many, a time to reflect on the sacrifice that one person makes for the good of others. Sadly this extended to two members of Port Campbell SLSC on Easter Sunday - Ross and Andy Powell, local dairy farmers and a father and son- experienced and fit for duty and well versed in the dangerous waters off the Twelve Apostles.
The IRB they were using as a rescue vessel, flipped in the rough seas and tragically two of the three rescue crew were drowned while attempting to rescue a tourist from Singapore that had gotten into difficulties.
Our club joins surf clubs across the nation is extending its sincere condolences to the families and members of the Surf Club that have suffered this loss.
As a mark of respect, Surf Clubs across NSW (and around the country), including our club held a minute's silence at 12.30pm on Easter Monday, while looking out to sea with our flag was flown at half mast.
NOTE...Junior presentation evening now begins at 5pm (1700hrs)
Please note that the time for this to begin has been changed.. it is now starting at 5pm (1700hrs in slsc time) not 4 pm as previously advised.

Senior Presentation Night is on Saturday 25 May 2019 at 6pm

The Senior Presentation Night will be held at our Club House this year :
- On Saturday 25 May 2019
- From 1800hrs (6pm)and will include a three course sit down meal and entertainment provided by our very own Steve Benic and we'll have drinks at bar prices.
Cost is $50.00 per person. Catering is being provided by Mr Bold Catering, so don't eat all day if you plan to attend, as you will be in for a treat. (AS many of you know)
