The annual Spring Art Market is a FREE family friendly event featuring 40+ local Santa Cruz artists & crafters, live music, beer/wine, food, & kids activities on the beautiful Tannery Arts Center campus. Free parking. Open 10am-5pm.
Tannery art studios will be open and both Tannery and other local artists will be exhibiting outside around the campus, including Gary Ingram, an artisan jewelry maker living and working at the Tannery Arts Center. Gary is also helping plan the Spring Art Market. We asked Gary what we can look forward to for this year's market:
"The Spring Art Market is being organized by Santa Cruz Mountains Makers’ Market this year, and we also are inviting other artists from outside the Tannery, so it will be much bigger than prior markets. There will be bands, food trucks, dancing, Bistro 112 is even serving wine margaritas: it will be real lively. This year I’m selling some special stuff: anodized metal jewelry, taking titanium and turning it into wild colors and larger pieces. We’re pulling out all the stops for this one."
