Meet the boat in Gustavus, or sail from Juneau
We have two great options for joining this trip. We know that a 10-day trip might be tough for some folks to pull off, so we're offering a shorter option as well.
- The trip is either May 30 to June 8, if you wish to join us for the full 10 days from Juneau,
- or be a jet-setter and fly into Gustavus on Alaska Airlines jet (June 1-6).
If you pick the shorter option, all six days will be inside spectacular Glacier Bay National Park - a World Heritage Site.
The longer option sails from Juneau through Chatham and Icy Straits - stopping in the fascinating Native Tlingit village of Hoonah, and travelling through rich whale-watching waters - returning to Juneau. We'll set the crab and shrimp pots, too.
Most folks who fly into Gustavus stay a night at the Glacier Bay Lodge (the only inside the National Park) for an intimate experience in Bartlett Cove. Join a hike led by a Park Ranger, go kayaking, experience the Huna Culture Tribal House, or just enjoy the old-timey ambiance, dining, and comfort of a National Park Lodge..
