C2C Roundtables are an annual series of professional development programs that aim to educate, empower, and connect the Joplin Arts & Cultural community. All leaders, supporters, and advocates are welcome to attend these roundtables. Feel free to invite interested staff and board members. C2C Roundtables are a great time to learn, share, network, and establish connections.

Media Panel

Location: Joplin Little Theatre (3008 W 1st St)
In developing an identity for your business or organization, you need to communicate your story, periodically, and in a variety of ways. This C2C Roundtable will feature a Media Panel filled with local media representatives from the following businesses: KRPS, ShowMe The Ozarks Magazine, KOAM/FOX14, KSN16/KODE12, and The Joplin Globe. The panel will answer questions and share valuable tips for arts and cultural organizations/businesses and artists to more effectively secure media attention in connecting to their audience. Attendees will leave with knowledge of important deadlines and a starter media list! RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Fourth Annual Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview

Location: Joplin Public Library (1901 E 20th St)
The Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview is your chance to get the scoop on what the Joplin arts and cultural community will be offering in the upcoming 2019-2020 year. Each arts/cultural organization/business will have a couple minutes to update the community on what they have planned for the upcoming year. The media, the Joplin arts and cultural community, artists, arts advocates, and the community-at-large are welcome to attend! Organizations must email info@connect2culture.org by July 1, 2019 to present at the event. Please include your name and what organization you will be representing. Bring plenty of business cards and promotional items to share!
