Senior Book Break: Native Americans

Let's read fiction and nonfiction about the indigenous people of this country. From customs and family traditions, to the relationship with the land, we'll read and discuss the contributions of Native Americans throughout history and in the present day.

Need some inspiration? Come check out the local history section of the library, located in our nonfiction room. There you'll find a wealth of information about the indigenous people of the Central Coast.

10:30 to 11:30 AM
Thanks for signing up to receive news and updates about Grover Beach Community Library's Senior Book Break.

We're not like other book clubs that ask everyone to read the same book. Instead, we get together for good conversations about many different books, authors, and genres.

Each meeting, we start with a topic—suggested by participants at the previous meeting—but our conversation takes us all over the literary map!

If you enjoy reading, this is the book club for you. We discuss books in a casual setting over coffee and refreshments, and most of us leave with a new book or two on our "to-read" list.

We meet from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. on the second Tuesday of each month at Grover Beach Community Library.
