We still have a few spots available in the Master of Health Science in Bioethics program! Applications to the program for classes beginning in September are being accepted until May 24, 2019. For more information about the program, including how to apply, please visit our website.

JCB Awards - Submissions


We are current accepting submissions for our faculty and student awards for 2019. These awards will be presented at the 8th Annual Research & Awards Celebration on Wednesday, June 5th. Submissions are being requested for the following awards:
  • Christine Harrison Bioethics Education Award for Integration of Theory and Practice
  • Ross Upshur Graduate Thesis Mentorship Award
  • Mervis-Simon Family Award in Bioethics
  • Larry Librach Prize in Ethics and End of Life Care
  • Peter A. Singer Award in Bioethics Mervis-Simon Family Award in Bioethics
The deadline for all awards has been extended to May 15th (midnight). For more information on each award and how to nominate candidates or apply, please visit our website.

The 14th annual Summer Institute in Bioethics, offered by Yale's Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, will take place from June 10-July 27, 2019. This 7-week program is for graduate students, professional students, and select undergrads. At this point in our application cycle, we are seeking applications from graduate students and professionals.

Applications:


Collaborative Specialization in Bioethics (CSB) Program
The JCB is now accepting applications to the CSB program. The CSB prepares students who will specialize in bioethics with an emphasis on innovative interdisciplinary research and scholarship in bioethics, and trains scholars whose primary goal is to contribute original research in bioethics. Prospective students must be admitted to one of the 12 collaborating graduate units before applying to the CSB program.
