There will be several neighborhood clean-up and garden events in the CNI area inspired by Earth Day. These events will be held on Friday, April 26th, Saturday, April 27th and Saturday, May 4th. Get out and enjoy the day with neighbors and other volunteers who are helping to prep the neighborhood for summer.

Come plant trees and learn about the arborist pre-apprenticeship program at 10:00am - 10:30am at Growing Power Orchard (5600 W Silver Spring Drive) or 1:30pm - 3:00pm at McGovern Park Orchards (Sherman Boulevard and Silver Spring Drive). - Havenwoods State Forest Cleanup (Saturday, April 27th), 9:00am - 12:00 Noon at 6141 N. Hopkins. Havenwoods will provide garbage bags and work gloves. Litter picker-uppers will receive gift certificates from local sponsors! Call 414-527-0232 for more information.

- Westlawn Gardens Sprucing Up For Spring (Saturday, May 4th), 10am - 2:00pm at the Community Gardens, 63rd Street and Custer Avenue. Join Westlawn community members, UWM alumni, students, and staff with their families and get ready for spring planting!
