This year we were fortunate to have significant media awareness brought together by our campaign sponsors Fussy Films and oOh! Media. TV and radio networks around the country have lent their support with community service airtime to help raise awareness of Young Onset Parkinson’s which affects over 20,000 Australians. Our campaign messages have been seen on billboards in offices, shopping centres, airports and on roadside thanks to the generous support of oOh! Media starting conversations about the prevalence of Parkinson’s disease and the number of people diagnosed under the age of 50.
We are grateful to Ben Kumanovski from Fussy Films for his creative campaign and the stars of our media campaign Nikki Blackwood, Larissa Richards, Andy Dickinson, Jennifer Ley and Marion Kumanovski who gave generously of their time and bravely shared their personal stories about living with Parkinson’s.
