We are a small provincial serving organization seeking an experienced director to lead our organization through an exciting period of development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively to meet our strategic goals. In this role, you will be the face of our organization, working closely with the Board of Directors, community based Family Resource Programs, and stakeholders. Current priorities are to build awareness and capacity of our membership and FRP BC. Our organization places a high priority on communication and trust.
We are in search of an individual who is aligned with our goals and will continue to enhance the organization through positive leadership.
The BC Association of Family Resource Programs (FRP BC) provides support and information to Family Resource Programs (FRP’s) throughout BC. These programs bring parents and children together to strengthen parenting, promote social networking, reduce isolation and enhance community cohesion.
In alignment with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Early Years Services Framework, FRP BC provides barrier-free support to FRPs. These FRPs form an important part of the wider continuum of government services by acting as a gateway to more enhanced services. FRP BC is charged with standardizing, streamlining and supporting the quality of these programs.
The FRP BC Board of Directors sets the strategic direction and monitors the successful implementation of the Early Years agreement and any additional projects undertaken. A Province-wide lens and representation is the responsibility of the Board and Staff.
This position is structured as a full-time opportunity based in Victoria. The Board is prepared to consider flexible options for the right individual.
