We've recently improved upon our SatVUE Smart Remote Monitoring Solution by allowing for integration with SDI-12 sensors.
What is SDI-12?
SDI-12 (Serial Digital Interface at 1200 baud) is an asynchronous serial communications protocol for intelligent sensors that monitor environment data.
SDI-12 sensors comprise of just three wires (serial data line, a ground line, and a 12V power line), and are typically low-power (12 volts) making them ideal for use in remote locations, when connected to an SDI-12 compatible data logger.
An SDI-12 compatible data logger polls data from the intelligent sensors (SDI-12 sensors), each identified with a unique address
