Newsletter & Announcement
On behalf of the Board and the M&P Committee, this announcement is to inform the congregation that Ryan will be taking his 3 month sabbatical from June 1st until August 31st. In his absence, Ingrid will be working full-time. She will be the “go to” person for pastor concerns, coordinating worship, preaching at the majority of the services, and overseeing our ministry team.
Ryan, Cheyenne and family will be travelling to Ontario, taking a course at St. Paul’s University and doing a house exchange in July with a United Church couple and visiting with friends. Ryan plans some reading time with books on preaching.
We wish Ryan and the family safe travels, a time of renewal, new experiences for the children, and a change of pace.
We are grateful for the gifts and talents of Ingrid and her willingness to take on these added duties.
Funding for this sabbatical is covered in the current budget and it mandated by the United Church of Canada after 5 years of service.
