Time to Breathe
Hello and Happy Tuesday, beautiful Heartlifters! This eNews is a little longer, as I really want to share my heart today. Please bear with me.
I truly believe I am entering a new season.
For so many years, I have served God, family and community in various ways, particularly as a speaker/Bible teacher within the realm of the church. I loved every single moment and still do. But then, at age 50, when my children flew from our nest, God called me to go back to school to get more training. I needed more tools in my toolbox in order to best serve the people I felt called to serve.
All of that has brought me right here, to this moment in time. My mission has shifted (or developed and evolved) into a strategic, highly specific one: sharing the message of emotional healing and spiritual authenticity, which I believe involves three significant cords: a healthy sense of self, healthy behavior patterns, and healthy communication skills.
I took a brave leap in 2012 and opened my private counseling practice, Heartlift Coaching & Consulting, and haven't looked back since. The transition has been both easy and hard, as most transitions are, but these past seven years have defined my purpose and deepened my passion for helping individuals, family systems, church communities and local communities, be emotionally healthy and spiritually authentic. I believe you can't divide the two.
I have seen a deficit in the area of training families to be emotionally healthy and pray that I might have some impact in helping bring remarkable resources and training to fill that gap.
I ask for your prayers as I lean into God's light and seek his divine wisdom in walking all of this out (especially as I approach 60!) You've been such a rich source of encouragement and I am so grateful for each of you.
A Special Invitation
I am over the moon to announce this brand-new emotional health seminar. I've been praying towards this event for quite some time. Many of you have been in this community for many years, and for that I am most grateful. My story has taken quite a few twists and turns (as our stories do in this life) and each detour, delay and divine interruption has led me right here.
