TAFISA joins the Global Active City Chinese Project Forum in Chongqing, China
TAFISA President Prof. Ju-Ho Chang and Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann travelled to China on April 23rd for various meetings and to attend the 2019 Global Active City Chinese Project Forum on April 26th, organised in Chongqing, China, under the leadership of TAFISA Vice President Liu Guoyong, and Hebei Yonghuai Institute. TAFISA visit in Rome
On April 16th, TAFISA Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann met with the President of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), Giovanni Malagò, the President of the Italian Federation of Traditional Sports and Games (FIGeST), Enzo Casadidio, and the Vice-President of the National Association of Italian Cities (ANCI), Roberto Pella, to discuss potential collaborations in the field of Traditional Sports and Games. Moreover, a first official meeting was hosted by the Vatican represented by Santiago Pérez de Camino Gaisse, Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life. Finally, TAFISA Member UISP's Massimo Tossini reported on their current status of work.
46th ASFAA BoD Meeting Successfully Held in Ulsan, Korea
The 46th ASFAA Board of Directors meeting and international workshop held on March 20-21 in Ulsan Metropolitan City, Korea gathered over 100 participants from 8 countries across the Asian continent. The meeting and workshop were spearheaded by the TAFISA-Korea with prestigious speakers from Asia discussing topics such as Sport for All and Active Cities. Read More...

On March 14th, 2019, the second TAFISA Europe Steering Committee Meeting of the year took place in the Friendship Sports Centre, Amsterdam, Netherlands. TAFISA Joins CIGEPS Annual Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland
TAFISA, as a member of the Permanent Consultative Council (PCC), attended the annual meeting of CIGEPS (Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport). CIGEPS goal is to promote sports, its role and value, and to enhance its inclusion in public policy. Read More...
Official launch of TAFISA-Korea to unify Sport for All movement in Korea
As a new governing body of Sport for All movement in Korea, TAFISA-Korea consists of several affiliated organizations including SAKA (Sport for All Association) and KSOC (Korean Sports Olympic Committee) aiming to cooperate with TAFISA and promote Sport for All in Korea. Read More...
The European Sport Stakeholders Gather in Bucharest
With more than 400 participants, the event proved once again to be the number one gathering of sport stakeholders across Europe, as representatives from the European Union, Sport Ministries, Sport movement and municipalities met to exchange about trends in the sports and physical activity sector. TAFISA Attends 2nd International Ethnosport Forum in Kazakhstan

TAFISA World Challenge Day is a worldwide, friendly competition in Sport for All and physical activity where cities and communities from around the globe encourage as many of their citizens to be active for at least 15 minutes on one day as possible. Read More...
Erasmus+ Projects - Update
The various Erasmus+ projects co-funded by the European Commission where TAFISA is involved are progressing towards their objectives. Project partners regularly meet to ensure the success of the project: 
  • The PACTE project – Promoting Active Cities Throughout Europe –  makes steady progress with the next workshop on “Active Workplace” scheduled to take place on June 20 – 21 in Brussels, Belgium.
    More information and highlighted “Cities of the Month” are available at http://www.pacteproject.com/
  • The next meeting of the ADVICE project (Anti-Doping Values in Coach Education) will take place in July 2019 in Spain. The App is in the final stages of testing and it will be released in the upcoming months.
