Middle School Retreat

The Diocese of New Jersey partners with Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center to introduce our middle school-aged students to a fun, safe, Christ-filled environment. This weekend away is a taste of what summer camp is like for those new to the camping experience.

Cross Roads S.E.E.K. Program

Do you have a child in grades 8-10? Register them for Crossroads' two-week S.E.E.K. program this summer!

Besides the usual camp experiences, SEEKers develop leadership and collaborative skills, discern their spiritual gifts, and participate in local service projects. During an optional third week, older campers have the opportunity to head in to New York City for service learning opportunities with partners there.

Trinity Cathedral Trip to Sight & Sound Theatre, Lancaster

Ticket Deadline April 30; Trip Date June 15

Please join the Trinity Cathedral Youth Group’s trip to see “JESUS” at the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA (Saturday, June 15, 2019.) It is the largest faith-based live theatre in the country and has been described as “Christian Broadway”. Experience the greatest rescue story of all time! JESUS is Sight & Sound’s action-packed musical adventure that takes you on a miraculous journey alongside the most famous person to ever walk the earth, and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever. The package includes a show ticket to “JESUS”, a Smorgasbord Lunch and shopping time at Shady Maple, and deluxe round-trip motorcoach transportation by Stout’s. The cost is $165.00 per person adult/$101.00 per person child (4-12.) The deadline for selling tickets and collecting all monies is April 30th, 2019. Choir Camp at Cape May

July 14-18, 2019

Why Choir Camp? The choir camp experience gives young choristers the opportunity to join with peers from communities throughout the Diocese and the region. This intense period of growth—socially, musically, and spiritually—provides experiences that last a lifetime. Choristers leave choir camp with a sense of enthusiasm that they bring back to their respective parishes and communities that help spread the Gospel and grow the church!

Who may come? Girls and boys who are ages 10-18 are welcome to register. You do not have to be from the Diocese of New Jersey to register. Due to space limitations, we can only accept 25 campers, so register early!

How can I try? Any child over 10 can sing with a group of Choir Camp alumni at a special Evensong service May 5 at Trinity Cathedral. Contact njchoircamp@gmail.com for details.
