The Biweekly News of Paradise Valley Christian Preparatory

We look forward to seeing you tonight April 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the final open house of the year and Fall Preview Night! The campus will be abuzz with several activities including the 3rd grade wax museum, 4th grade Arizona projects, 5th grade world expo, and the school-wide arts festival. Current families will have the chance to visit classrooms to preview next year's curriculum and meet teachers. We will also have a tax credit representative on hand to answer any questions you might have.

This is a great chance to see the school in action, so please consider who you can invite this evening to learn more about PVCP.

As you consider who you can invite to the open house, remember that the Tuition Recruitment Incentive Program, or TRIP, offers current families a $500 tuition credit for each family they recruit to PVCP.
  • There is no limit to the number of families you can recruit or the number of tuition credits you can receive!
  • The recruited and recruiting families must complete the academic year or tuition credit will be prorated through the withdrawal month.

Simple and Effective Ways to Support PVCP

Fry's Community Rewards: Did you know you can support PVCP every time you shop at Fry's? Simply link your card to PVCP's account. Learn more by clicking here. Remember, you must link your card every year.

Amazon Members: Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. Please consider choosing PVCP when designating your donation recipient.  AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service. Support your charitable organization by starting your shopping at  smile.amazon.com  Follow this link for details.

Tax Credit Contribution: Today is the final day to make a donation to an STO to apply towards your 2018 tax filing. If you have an Arizona tax liability, please consider making a contribution to an STO designating PVCP or a specific student as the recipient. Contributing to these organizations not only gives you a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when making your State of Arizona filing, but it allows PVCP to assist families with their tuition who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend a Christian school. Call Anna Tracy in the PVCP business office at 602-992-8140 ext. 2241 for more information.

PVCP Business Office Reminders

All tuition payments are due the first of the month. A late fee of $35 will be assessed on the sixth of the month. It is imperative that we receive timely payments in order to meet our monthly obligations.

The office will accept cash or check in person, but card payments can be made through the parent portal. Please review your online options; fees for an ACH payment are $5, fees for credit card payments are calculated on a percentage of the payment. The ACH option may be more economical for some. If you have any questions, please see Angie Lucas in the Business Office or email her at alucas@pvcp.org.

Rental/Vacation Home

Do you have friends or family coming into town this spring for graduation? This short-term rental is close to campus and would be a great option! The rental is in a great location and is a short drive to downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and is fully furnished. For more details contact Lynn Nixon at 602-361-4456 or lynix1@cox.net.
