Happy Spring

Hello Life Marvelers!
On Tuesday clusters of Admirals emerged in various gardens and I was delighted to take in the butterfly energy. This winter felt harsh, and I am grateful to see Narcissi and Hyacinths come out and hope there will be no more snow until November.
I had a pet-sitting Spring Break in Elmhurst that gave me a nice reset from the winter doldrums. More social activities are happening as well. Now I am trying to organize the studio so I can make some new pieces that are circling in my head.
Meanwhile, I've refreshed inventory at both the consignment stores I am at. April 28 will arrive before I know it, when it is time to return to the Handmade Market. Read on below for more specifics.
Enjoy the sun and flowers as they emerge this month! Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

Sacred Art is having a busy week next week. I dropped off more Garden Stakes there so they can present them at the Wine Stroll and at Show of Hands. The Lincoln Square Spring Wine Stroll is Thursday, April 25th, 2019 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm. You can buy $35-45 tickets online in advance, and choose from 6 routes in Lincoln Square and Ravenswood. Sacred Art will be on Lincoln Square - Route C. The stroll pairs red and white wine samples with delicious hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants. Sacred Art is located at 4619 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, IL.
That weekend they will have a booth at Show of Hands at Architectural Artifacts, where you can see my pieces as well.
The Evanston Pop Up Gallery changed names, but my work staying in this Downtown Evanston gift shop. my art did move locations from the glass shelves nook to the warmer white shelves by the cash register. It feels less clinical in this spot, and I hope it also puts more eyeballs in that area. Artem Pop Up Gallery owner Sarita Kamat has a wonderful vision for the boutique, so if you want more information check out their Facebook page.
I'll be adding more pieces to this Evanston store after the Handmade Market and am deciding on a Trunk Show date there later this year.
Artem Pop Up Gallery is located at 1627 Sherman Avenue in Evanston.
This month's art fair for me is Sunday, April 28 at the Handmade Market, from 12 to 4 p.m. The Empty Bottle, located at 1035 N Western Ave, Chicago, will be filled with funky jewelry, knitted items, clothing, baked goods, handbags, paper crafts, skincare and more handmade booths.
Each event is held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, as well as the 3rd Sunday of the month, from the months of October - April. Admission is free, but you have to be over 21 to enter so you can have a mimosa or other beverage.
I will have some stakes, my jewelry and keychains. Maybe some of the chunky jewelry in my head will also pop out by that weekend, so you can see things fresh off the Jig!
