I Prayed Today...

I prayed that I'd have a chance to preach the Easter gospel to you this Sunday.
If you are like me, you need to hear how much God loves you. I promise to tell you how much on Sunday.
If you are like me, you feel guilty often. I promise to tell you of God's certain forgiveness.
If you are like me, you think about death, yours and that of your loved ones. I promise to remind you of Jesus empty grave.

This is your home, you are always welcome. I hope you read this, and I really hope I see you.

Java, Juice & Jesus - What a Great Day!

Java, Juice, and Jesus hosted over 40 people while sharing the life-changing message of Easter. Thanks to everyone who helped put this fantastic event together!

Thanks Parents!
Our dedicated teachers have also requested that you practice the "Easter Song" with your kids at home. Your child's teacher should have sent an email with the song attached. Maybe you could sing it as a family before bedtime tonight.
We are only a few days away!!! How exciting!!!

The Adult Discipleship Committee has decided to do Easter Breakfast the same way it worked last year. Rather than bringing food items we are looking for a financial free-will donation. We will do the shopping, preparations, and serving, which will look familiar. We will be making a more standardized breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausage, and bacon. Juice, coffee, and water will also be provided. Our efforts are to simplify everything and be more successful in providing enough food. Men, we will still be needing manpower for set-up, clean-up, and food preparation. Any questions can be directed to Clint Westerberg.

King Sooper's have cancelled their fund raising reward program, so we no longer get credit for any re-loads or purchases of their gift cards. We will no longer be involved with this. Thank you for past purchases.

Living Savior Church Ladies

RMCC
Rocky Mountain Christian Camp (RMCC), located in Leadville, Colorado gives our young people an opportunity for Christian fellowship with others of their same faith. RMCC aims to assist youth in their spiritual growth while offering them a unique camping experience in the Rocky Mountains. The camp is attended by youth from all over, including New Mexico, Utah, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming.
This year RMCC will be July 13th-20th. Youth entering 6th grade thru 9th grade are eligible to attend as campers. Older teens entering 10th grade thru 12th grade may serve as Junior Counselors, provided they have attended RMCC in the past. If the maximum number of campers or JCs is reached, registrants will be put on a waiting list (56 boy campers, 56 girl campers, 24 girl JCs, 24 boy JCs).

RMLHS Celebrates Anniversary
The RMLHS Board of Directors and faculty invite you to join us in celebrating the 35th anniversary in the ministry of Mike Schaefer at a special Service of Praise and Thanksgiving. The service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 2600 S Wadsworth Blvd, Denver, CO 80227 on Sunday, May 5, 2019, beginning at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the church basement. If you would like to write letters of congratulations to the anniversary celebrant, you are welcome to send them to the school address and we will pass them along.

Pam Griffin (Morning Westerberg's mother) - Battling cancer. Pray that the Lord might open her heart that she might see the light of God's love in Jesus.
Merlin Camrud - Experiencing significant pain and challenges related to his physical health.

Ministering to Millennials – Lord Jesus, people of every age and generation are precious in your sight. We humbly ask your blessing on the efforts of those who are working to develop and promote the “Ministering to Millennials” resources for WELS Congregational Services. Make these materials a blessing to many congregations as they strive to retain and gain members from this largest generation in America. Open the eyes of believing millennials to see the benefits and blessings of being connected regularly to a local family of believers. Bless this program in your saving name. Amen.
