Downtown Parking Information - Regular & Event Day Parking
City of Fayetteville staff will constantly monitor the downtown parking process during large events, making adjustments as needed, while ensuring citizen safety and security. Downtown parking information including all public and private lots and areas designated for handicapped-accessible parking is listed on the City website at FayettevilleNC.gov/downtownparking. FAST Bus Routes Can Get You to Segra Stadium and Woodpecker Baseball Games
The Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) will provide affordable, fast and convenient access to the downtown area for the City’s opening day Minor League Baseball game at Segra Stadium and all games thereafter. Woodpecker fans can travel to games on five bus routes that provide direct access to downtown. FAST has made some minor adjustments for game nights to accommodate residents during this exciting time. City, County and PWC receive State Excellence in Communications Awards
The City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County and the City of Fayetteville’s Public Works Commission (PWC) were among 28 North Carolina governments to earn recognition in the 12th North Carolina City & County Communicators’ (NC3C) Excellence in Communications Awards. The local organizations won a combined 11 awards, to include the City and County’s collaborative efforts in the Hurricane Florence Joint Information Center and PWC’s Carolyn Justice-Hinson winning the Chris Coulson Communicator of the Year Award. Streambank Repair Workshop
The City of Fayetteville’s Engineering Division is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Streambank Repair Workshop on Tuesday, April 30. This class will be located at the Rowan Street Park Community Building and will begin at 8:30 a.m. The City, in partnership with N.C. State University and N.C. Cooperative Extension, is providing this class free of charge to residents so that they can learn how to protect and improve the natural environment by stabilizing streams on their properties.
