Principal's Message

Dear Wealthy Elementary Families,

Warmer weather appears to be here on a consistent basis and along with Spring’s arrival comes some of our favorite school community events. The Wealthy Elementary Wizard Walk and Family Fun Night will occur on Thursday, May 9. That afternoon, at 1:30 PM, students in all grades will come together in a rainbow of colors to walk approximately a mile through Gaslight Village to raise funds for the Wealthy Elementary PTO and its programs for the next school year.

I want to thank our PTO and parent community for supporting our mission so generously.  Without these resources, opportunities such as the Fifth Grade Camp experience, author visits, Field Day, and Shrek, Jr. musical would not be possible. We strive for 100% student participation and appreciate each family supporting the event in whatever capacity they are able. Each Friday we will draw and give away two free Family Fun Night wristbands to students who have returned their packet and/or participated via SchoolPay. Note that this is a new School Pay Wizard Walk link. Family Fun Night will be from 5:30 - 8:00 PM on our school grounds and is a favorite of our students. We hope you will join us for games, cake walks, and more! Many volunteers are needed for Family Fun Night. Please sign up for a convenient 1/2-hour shift by clicking here. Please contact the office if you have any questions about the events.

Field Day
We are seeking parent volunteers for Field Day which will be held on Friday, May 17 (Rain Date of Friday, May 24). This is our final TEAM celebration of the year where we reward our students for their hard work and positive choices. Our goal this year, as a school, is to earn 20,000 TEAM Recognition Cards, and we are well on our way! To join us by volunteering, please click
here. No athleticism is required! I hope that many of you will join us to support one of our favorite events of the school year.

Warm Regards,

Carlye Allen

The M-STEP testing sessions for 3rd - 5th grade can be found by clicking on the link below. Please be mindful in scheduling any appointments for your student(s) that involves time out of the classroom during the following M-STEP testing periods. This is important because time for make-up assessments is limited.  See Schedule of Testing Dates for each grade.
