Behind the Wings on RMPBS

Wings Over the Rockies has been producing its own in-house web series for 26 episodes! Museum curator Matthew Burchette goes “behind the wings” in each episode with some of history’s most iconic aerospace treasures. Throughout the series, you can peek into the cockpits of rare warbirds, fly over the Centennial State in a state-of-the-art Skyhawk, climb into the cockpit of the legendary B-52 Bomber and a whole lot more. The whole series is available online here, but the first four episodes have been picked up to air on Rocky Mountain PBS!

Season One premieres Friday, April 26 at 8:00 PM on RMPBS. Check here for your channel listing.

In episode 1, B-52 Stratofortress, join Wings’ curator and Behind the Wings host Matthew Burchette as he crawls through an iconic B-52 bomber, takes a trip to The Peace Garden State and explores one of only two active B-52 bases in the United States. Episodes 2-4 will air March 3, 10, and 17. Mark your calendars and set your DVRs!
