Please join us for a webinar miniseries on the genomics of invasive mussels hosted by the Invasive Mussel Collaborative. Part two of the miniseries will cover efforts by the University of Minnesota and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to sequence the genome of zebra and quagga mussels, respectively.
The webinar will feature presentations from:  
  • Dr. Yale Passamaneck, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
  • Dr. Michael McCartney, University of Minnesota
The Invasive Mussel Collaborative is working to advance scientifically sound technology for invasive mussel control to produce measurable ecological and economic benefits. The Collaborative provides a framework for communication and coordination, identifying the needs and objectives of resource managers, prioritizing supporting science, developing communication strategies, and aligning science and management goals into a common agenda.
