Students will do a survey study of the 20th Century hitting high points such as the Industrial Revolution, WWI, WWII, the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and the Information Age.

This week we will be working on Section 10 Inshallah.

Ust. Muna will begin with assisting in teaching the math classes from now until the end of the year. She has been with us as a long term substitute for Social Studies. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me!

- Students are working on Lesson 5 - Sports.They're working on reading the story and conversation. They are also learning new vocab. words and grammars.
- Students will be receiving their new H.W sheet on Tuesday Insha'Allah. It will be due on Monday.
- Spelling test is due Monday.
- Test on Thursday 03/28.
- Reading log sheet and the story summery are due Monday.

Quran

Group 1

- Students are working on the attributes of the letters.
- Each student H.W. will be written at his/her planner.
- Practice recitation page 31 of surah Al-Baqarah

Group: 2

- Students are working on Al-Qaida An-Nuraniyah lesson 12-13
- Each student memorization will be written at his/her planner.
- Practice lesson 12-13

This week, students will finish the first drafts of their argumentative essays and peer review.

This week we will be talking about team work in an engineering team, constraints in a project, and how to do proper research. This will sit us up for our bigger project of designing a water filter.

Students are to turn in their Salah Charts every Monday for a grade to help them keep track of their salah.
Students are learning about respect for humanity: Respect for teachers, Respecting Elders and Respecting yourself.
