A big welcome to all those receiving this special Saturday newsletter.

Those that receive it regularly will know that it's normally sent out at 5 pm on a Friday, but this one is special because it contains important information on the new Northamptonshire Scouts Development Plan - Skills for life: our plan to prepare better futures 2019 - 2023 and also because it is being received by several hundred more people than normal.
 
I have decided that everyone who is currently listed on Compass as a part of Northamptonshire Scouts will receive this newsletter, as we are all part of this great organisation and we need to ensure that we are all fully informed about what is going on.  The newsletter will keep you informed on events, activities and important information on how the county is developing.  It is the principal way we communicate what is going on, so please ensure that you take the time to look at it.

Skills for Life: Our plan to deliver better futures 2019 - 2023: Northamptonshire's Action Plan

Today sees the launch of the new Northamptonshire Scouts development plan- Skills for Life: Our plan to deliver better futures 2019 - 2023: Northamptonshire's Action Plan
 
Over the last few months, we have been working with District Commissioners and other experienced adults across the county to agree our objectives to meet the national goals.  We have also engaged in wide consultation to make sure we get this right.  
 
This plan builds upon the hugely successful 2017 - 2019 development plan that really made significant changes in how the county operated.
 
Please take the time to look at the document, it will guide the development of the county over the next four years.
