We are excited to announce that Susan Snodgrass has been awarded a grant by the Graham Foundation for “Inside the Matrix: The Radical Designs of Ken Isaacs”, a book that we will be publishing in Fall, 2019. We’ve been huge fans of Ken Isaacs for a long time and have long appreciated Susan’s writing and criticism. This will be our first collaboration with Susan and we can’t wait for more people to learn about Isaacs’s work through this book. There is so little about him that is currently in print.

After 10 years of running a webstore to help send the publications we make and our friends’ work out into the world, every now and then we recognize that we should mix it up, make things better, and show our family of supporters a little more love. International shipping remains a monster that we haven’t figured out how to slay, but we’ve decided to make U.S. Media Mail shipping free on orders of $15.00 or more. We would rather see you select an extra booklet that looks interesting in order to bump your total up to $15.00 than worry about shipping. We still have a little handling fee of $1.50 per order, but if you live in what’s left of the U.S. and spend $15.00 or more, postage is on the Half Letter Press house.

Thank you to everyone that found our table at the LA Art Book Fair. We had an amazing time meeting lots of new people, seeing old friends, and tabling alongside some of our favorite publishers. As always, it was an honor to be included by Printed Matter. Next up is our hometown classic: Chicago Zine Fest. Find us at Plumber’s Union Hall on Saturday, May 18th.
