Tāmaki Makaurau Anarchists
Apologies for the delay in the latest newsletter, took an impromptu break over easter! Hopefully all of you still made it down to the meke as May Day celebration at Audio Foundation, the biggest May Day event in Auckland for years! Thanks to all who made that possible. Also to the Extinction Rebellion events on the global week of action, where you may have seen in London activists occupying key bridges for almost a week!

Much of our attention in the coming week will be on Ihumatao, where it is suspected Fletcher will be moving in tomorrow morning to block the road and attempt to begin their devilish development. All that stand in support with mana whenua please come down if you can and help resist. Other than that, the next school strike will be on the 24th, all welcome to support, there will be an anti-fascist art day on the 18th and there will be further action around climate change. Hold fast te Kaitiaki Pā, kia kaha kia maia kia manawanui.
We are an explicitly anarchist group in Auckland, about a year old, struggling for a better, fair and equal world. We are always open to new members. To find out more, come along to a public meeting, or you can find us at tamakimakaurauanarchists@gmail.com.
