Thank you to the 120+ Arrowmen who came out to Firelands Scout Reservation at the end of April for our Back to Firelands Spring Induction Weekend! Congratulations to the 27 new Ordeal members of our lodge and the 8 new Brotherhood members! Thank you to Music 911 for providing sound and audio/visual for the weekend.

Conclave 2019
Located among the hills of West Virginia, Section C-4 will host its inaugural Conclave: Conclave ’76. Conclave ’76 will provide Arrowmen with great experiences and a lasting memory at Camp Mountaineer. On May 17-19, 2019, this Fallout 76 themed event will occur and give Arrowmen the opportunity to participate in great shows, trainings, outdoor activities, and more! Will you be there?

50 members of our lodge have already registered—will you join our number?

New section officers (chief, vice chief, and secretary) will also be elected at Conclave. They oversee planning of Conclave, FORUM, and Council of Chiefs meetings as well as represent our section at a national level. If you are interested in running for a section position, see the application form here.

Conclave Transportation

The Lodge seeks adults to drive youth members to Conclave, May 17-19 near Morgantown, WV. We have many youths interested in attending, so drivers are needed. If you can drive one way or both, please contact Lodge Adviser Joe Wollet at lodgeadviser@erielhonan.org. Thank you!

Members who haven't paid their 2019 dues are urged to do so immediately. Dues should have been paid by December 31, 2018, to remain in good standing with our Order (and be permitted to wear the lodge flap). As a reminder, members who joined in 2018 were dues-paid only through December 31 and must pay 2019 dues to stay current.

The requirements for the Active Arrowman Award have been updated for this year and are now available on our lodge website—check them out and make plans to earn the award this year!

NOAC 2020 is only 15 months away! If you've never been to a NOAC before—or can't wait to attend another one—mark your calendars. We are excited to return to Michigan State University on August 3-8, 2020.

NOAC is the biennial National Order of the Arrow Conference. Think of it like a national jamboree for Arrowmen. There are hundreds of activities, including outdoor adventures, Native American activities, major arena shows, and opportunities to improve your leadership skills while learning more about our Order.

You'll stay with friends in a college dorm, experience campus dining halls, and enjoy Scouting fellowship with thousands of other Arrowmen from around the country, including regional and national officers.

Registration and deposits will start this summer, so watch this space for more news in the coming months.
