Join art lovers just like you at Art Route Oakland 2019!

Art Route Oakland is a free, fun activity for all ages held during Oakland Art Month. Follow the official Art Route Map and explore galleries and art venues throughout Oakland. Collect stamps along your way and enter to win fabulous prizes including: $250 to $1,500 good toward original artwork, a hotel getaway, fine dining and more!

HOW TO PLAY: Pick up your official Art Route Oakland Map here at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center or at any of the 30+ participating venues starting Friday, May 3rd. Bring your map with you as you visit venues around the city, receiving a stamp for each venue along your route. When you have collected enough stamps, submit your completed map to a participating Art Route Oakland venue by 5pm on May 11th.

Bojagi is a general term for all wrapping cloths in Korea. Students in the Korean immersion program at Claire Lilienthal School create bojagi for several years, preserving and transferring their teacher’s knowledge of the traditional techniques and familiar forms as shown in this exhibition. 
Co-presented by the Oakland Asian Cultural Center and Claire Lilienthal School.
