Self compassion is a way of practicing self care and promoting positive mental health from within. It’s about pro-actively managing stress and supporting yourself through difficult times, or just everyday stresses in your life.
In addition, self-compassion helps you to help others, whether it’s understanding and supporting a partner, child or family member, to close friends or colleagues. Practicing self compassion promotes a healthy outlook for yourself and those around you.
I encourage all my clients to read through the self-compassion module and take the time to do the exercises within.
