BankSA Foundation helps open pantry for needy families

Food packages full of South Australian produce will be delivered to 1,000 disadvantaged South Australian families this month thanks to support agency MumKIND and a $40,000 grant from BankSA Foundation.

The new ‘SA Pantry’ initiative was one of two recipients of BankSA Foundation grants last month; the other being the Miracle Babies Foundation which has been given $40,000 to help establish a second ‘NurtureGroup’ in SA to support young children affected by prematurity or sickness.

Hughes congratulates the BankSA Foundation – which is funded primarily through BankSA staff donations – for its continued support of small local charities. Read.

Kokoda Track awaits our Kieran

Hughes consultant Kieran Hall is on a mission … a mission to hike the Kokoda Track in July in honour of Australia’s war heroes, while also raising crucial funds for FightMND to help slay the beast that is motor neurone disease.

MND is a horrible and debilitating disease that gradually takes away the use of a person’s arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech, and ultimately their ability to breathe … all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.

Click here if you’re able to donate. Kieran and FightMND would be enormously grateful!
