Graduation Tickets
Coming Home This Week

5th Grade families: Please keep an eye out for graduation tickets that will be sent home shortly. There will be 2 tickets for each graduating student.
Fourth-Grade Help Needed
for Graduation

Graduation is a time of celebration and recognition for fifth grade students and their families. It's a tradition at Lakeshore for parents of students in lower grades, especially fourth grade, to run graduation activities so that fifth grade families can focus on their students.

Please pay it forward and sign up to help with this very short event! Then when our turn comes for graduation, someone will take care of it for us. We need just six people who can help the whole time, or a dozen or so who can take smaller shifts.

No planning needed; just pick up, set up, clean up, take tickets, and serve refreshments. Thank you!
Staff Appreciation Week:
May 6-10

TWO MORE DAYS TO GO! Let's wrap up Staff Appreciation Week with a small token of appreciation!
Thursday: Bring in school supply that your class/teacher can use
Friday: Bring in a thank-you card explaining why you love your teacher. The PTA is also hosting a breakfast for our entire staff. We still need more dishes! Sign up at bit.ly/ls19sa to help.

If there's a staff member other than your classroom teacher who has made an impact this year (e.g., librarian, PE, yard duty, office staff, paraprofessional, enrichment consultants), feel free to thank them as well with extra fruit, treats, flowers, supplies, or cards!
