Bitbucket Integration: Comment Line Annotations
In this release, the Bitbucket Integration has been extended to include comment line annotations, where Teamscale findings are added as inline comments to the Bitbucket pull request
Commit Message Issue Tracker
Teamscale now offers the Commit Message Issue Tracker which is a generic issue tracker offering the following features:
Ability to use all issue-centric views and features of Teamscale without connecting a real issue tracker (e.g. Jira, GitHub, TFS, etc). It is useful for:
Teams who are not using an issue tracker
Teams whose issue tracker is not yet supported by Teamscale
Teams who are interested in viewing issue information (e.g. issue commits, issue coverage, etc) in Teamscale without fully integrating their issue tracker
Extracting issues from the commit messages based on the provided issue id pattern
Extracted issues contain the relevant issue information such as affected files, test gaps, findings balance and issue commits
Extracted issues are listed in the Issues Perspective and could be queried based on their id, created timestamp or updated timestamp fields
Live Preview of Branch Settings
In this release, the user can now preview the branch settings during project configuration. The feature allows the user to:
get live feedback on the impact of any changes to the branch settings
view which branches will be fetched and analyzed
Widgets
Quick-Edit Mode: All widgets can now be edited directly from the dashboard view without having to edit the dashboard itself.
Code Ownership Treemap now has a baseline option which allows the users to view recent committers by selecting a starting point in time.
Web Interface
Projects Perspective:Project analysis state information is now visible in the projects list
Architecture Editor:Hide/Show of component dependencies is now possible in view mode
Delta Perspective:Tolerated and false-positive findings are indicated in merge request mode
Tests Perspective: Issue list can now be sorted by number of changes
Navigation from the code view to an architecture highlights the component containing the code
Compare view: The file's date is now shown in addition to the revision
Issue details view: Description section is now expandable
Code view: "View findings" link for individual code files
Threshold values of assessment metrics are now displayed in the tooltip
Diff View: Jump to next/previous change with keyboard shortcut
Permission System:Separate tab for viewing/editing the available roles in role assignment view
IDE Integration
Visual Studio Plugin: Toggle to show/hide pre-commit findings
IntelliJ Plugin: Tree Table view has replaced the Tree view

Support for LLVM Coverage format
Support for generic JSON formats for upload of external findings and non-code metrics

Selection and Iteration Compound Body Check: Option allowing usage of if-statements without braces
Don't Use Ternary Operator Check: Option allowing usage of ternary operator if it's limited to one line
Default excluded file names were added for Visual Basic projects
