A new, interactive way of learning about evolution - one fully-funded workshop available for a London school on 13 or 14 May

A new, interactive workshop about evolution for KS3 and KS4 has been developed through a collaboration between Making Faces Theatre and Professor Christine Janis, Vertebrate Paleontologist, from Bristol University. A tour of the workshop across five regions has been fully-funded by The Paleontological Association.

The workshop features a new series of animal masks that have been created from fossil data to bring ancient species - along the pathway from fish to man - back to life. The research phase of the project was supported by The Arts Council.

The funding covers one 90-minute workshop or two 60-minute workshops. The workshop teaches evolution through movement for classes studying science or drama. To deliver the workshop in a school, an open space is required, such as a school hall, gym or drama studio. The class size should be 20–30 students.

If you would like to find out more, visit the Making Faces Theatre website, email or call on 07779 854 957. Workshops are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
