Dear St. V's,
Tomorrow, Sunday, we will take nominations for Mass representatives for the Parish Council. Two 9:30 Mass representatives will be leaving the Council after the June meeting: Mike Jacko (Council President) has served two terms (he is ineligible for re-election) and Dan Rolandelli has served one full term and declines to run for a second term. Denise Hamilton, 11:45 Mass representative, has also served (at least!) two terms. We are all very grateful for the care, attention, and time these parishioners have given to St. Vincent's.
Please consider prayerfully whether you can serve the parish as a member of the Parish Council. It is one way to give back to the Eucharistic family that nurtures and supports your faith, and provides a good opportunity to learn more about the many ways our community expresses our unique charism. Help us into a deeper discovery of who we are.
Consider also who you can nominate. Use your fabulous new Parish Directory to see their picture and send them an email or call to ask if they'd be willing to serve. The Council meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. All meetings are open to all parishioners.
With thanks and in peace,
Colleen, PA

…in the words of
John's Gospel 21:17
Jesus said to him the third time,
"Simon, son of John, do you love me?"
a response in another's words,
a prayer-poem –
how many times
does it take
or is it an endless question
needing sequentially
a deeper challenge
to deeper thought
birthing deeper answers
answers that take shape
words of love fashioned
into works of love
[a truly loving "amen"]
Fr.. Ray
…now a response
in your own words,
a prayer-poem –

The Green Team thanks all who participated in the Environmental Fair. Knowledge create awareness! So let’s all “Hear the Cry of the Earth” and do something more to protect what God has created!
For those who could not get down to the Undercroft last Sunday morning, there is a Green display with learning materials (what's recyclable and what's not?) for your perusal this week in The Gathering Space.
