Collaborators Needed
NXTGEN's goal is to offer at least 60 one day events. That's more than one person can handle or should do.
NXTGEN is designed to be collaborative in nature. This is reflected in the mentored cohort model and emphasized in the modules that speak to the centrality of community.
Consequently, I am looking for those who have something to contribute.
And yes, there is compensation.
You need not be a poet for hire, but I would love to talk with you if you desire to leave your mark.

How Does Collaboration Work?
Check out the NXTGEN Preview site.
Here you can see what modules exist and which ones we desire to be written. Perhaps you see a gaping hole in our curriculum and would like to suggest a great module.
Send an email and set up a time to talk.

Level One
Once initial approval is given, submit a one-page outline, approximately 350 words describing the goal of this module and the objectives the module will seek to attain as well as how it fits into the NXTGEN framework. This will show how this module benefits the NXTGEN system.
Payment - $150

Level Two
Level One is approved.
Submit three-page document, with links to books, sites, etc., that support the clearly stated goals of this lesson. This level requires demonstration of understanding the three phases of a NXTGEN module, of reflection, response and integration.
Payment – additional $200
Credit will be given on the site as a contributor

Level Three
Levels One and Two are approved
Have written text for each phase of a six-hour program with substantiating material, references and credits. The author demonstrates the adult-centered learning philosophy of NXTGEN by the incorporation of facilitating style, such as videos, group exercise, discussion points, etc. Create worksheets, handouts, etc. that are to be included.
Payment – additional $650
Credit will be given on the site as the main contributor

Don't Forget
NXTGEN offers six one-hour weekly training events via Zoom. The class size will be kept to eight, with a brief article to read prior to each module. The sessions include:
  • Session One:     What is a Mentor? We explore who the mentors were in your life and how they shaped who you are today.  May 28th
  • Session Two:     Mentoring versus Coaching. Where do they connect and how are they different? How do you mentor through the various stages of ministry?  June 4th
  • Session Three:  We walk through a NXTGEN module, The Pastor’s Community, as an example of the need for mentored cohorts.  June 11th
  • Session Four:    This unit examines the present need for mentored cohorts and how the NXTGEN model answers that need. We discuss the value of a mentor-facilitator cohort, so that, you, the mentor has your own community.   June 18
  • Session Five:     We look at the nuts and bolts of facilitating a mentored cohort and examine the differences between a common pedagogical model of training vs. an adult-centered form in a mentored cohort.   July 2
  • Session Six:      The last unit will walk you through the NXTGEN Soft Skills delivery site and explain how to recruit a cohort to mentor in your Presbytery.  July 9
The 6 meetings meet each Tuesday, beginning May 28th through July 9th.
There will be no gathering on June 25th.
There are two webinar times from which to chose:
