Dear TLS Parent,
As noted in the TLS calendar and handbook, our second extracurricular choral event is this coming Sunday, May 5, at King of Glory Lutheran Church. The TLS schola cantorum (literally, “school of singers”) will be singing some traditional music appointed for the second Sunday after Easter, Misericordias Domini (“Mercy of the Lord”), commonly known in Western Christendom as “Good Shepherd Sunday.” Expect to hear scriptural themes from Psalm 23 and John 1o!
Kantor Hoffman has asked for students to arrive at 8:25 AM. The service will begin at 9:00 AM. King of Glory Lutheran Church is located at 8806 Yellowstone Road here in Cheyenne (view on Google Maps here). (NB: This is a required school event; all requests for exemption must be cleared with the school headmaster ahead of time.)
