This exhibition explores collaborative efforts between a married couple

This exhibition features watercolor paintings by Ju-Yu ‘Louise’ Chen, an artist and educator living in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Her work depicts profound life experiences using a variety of bird species and highlighting their relationship to their environments. She received her B.A. from the National Taiwan Normal University and her M.A. from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Accompanying Chen’s paintings are photographs from her husband Lih-Long Chu who documents bird species from across the United States for Chen.

This exhibition will run from May 20th - June 21st, 2019 with a reception on Thursday, May 30th, 4 - 6 pm.
