Centenary College Class of 2019 to graduate May 4 at the Gold Dome

Members of the Centenary College Class of 2019 will receive their diplomas at the College’s annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4, at the Gold Dome. Writer John T. Edge will deliver the commencement address to students graduating in Centenary’s 194th year and will also receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.

Centenary Youth Orchestra announces summer chamber music camp

Young musicians will have the chance to learn to play music with others in small groups at the Centenary Youth Orchestra (CYO) Chamber Music Camp this summer. The camp runs from Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6 at Centenary’s Hurley School of Music. The experience culminates with a formal recital presentation in Centenary’s Anderson Auditorium on June 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The Diamond Gents entered game day on April 26 knowing they needed a win to capture the third seed in the upcoming Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, and they held on for a 9-7 win against the Pirates in game one to do just that.
